No chicks for PLO again this year

Ospreys Mum and Dad in Port Lincoln, SA, sadly gave up on their eggs again this year. Though we can't know for sure, the best guess about why this happened is that warming sea temperatures have made it so hard for the ospreys to catch fish that Mum hasn't been eating enough for nesting to be viable. The observation board has more details. Very sad and frustrating to see these obvious impacts of the climate crisis while our governments are tripping over themselves to approve new data centres and fossil fuel projects to speed up the disaster.
